Catcher's Camp

The goal is to set the foundation and direction needed to take your game to the next level.  Each session will have a specific directive and will end with drills to develop that directive.  Below are the areas of catching we will address:

• Coach Jack Kopacz and a team of Baseball Instructors will manage this Program ensuring individual instruction
• We will have access to the full infield, allowing all aspects of catching to be practiced as if we were in a game.
• Set up: bases empty, men on
• Signal calling, pitch selection, team communication
• Receiving, the most undervalued art of catching
• Throwing to bases, the running game
• Blocking pitches and the recovery
• Fielding bunts, blocking home plate
• Preparation and training
