- If you offer batting cages rentals but charge extra for a pitching machine, your clients can choose to add the pitching machine on to their rental for an additional charge right after they book their rental online via eSoft Planner.
- If you offer dance lessons, and you give clients the option of video taping the lesson for an additional fee, the client can sign up for the appointment online with eSoft Planner, then choose to add the cost of the video taping service.
- If you have a portable trampoline at your gymnastics facility, employees can reserve the trampoline for use in a camps or class, making it unavailable for use in other appointments or rentals at that time.

You can also use the Upsell Module to specify exactly where and when your products and services can be used within your facility. For each product and service, you designate which specific locations your clients and employees can use the equipment in. These designations often help you and your staff avoid confusion, and they streamline the rental and appointment processes because clients only choose from among add-ons that are relevant to what they're purchasing.
- If your facility has flippers available for clients to rent in swimming classes, you can specify that the flippers are only to be used for lessons and/or rentals in the pool. When you do this, the flippers won't show up as add-on options for anyone renting or scheduling in other facility locations, such as the tennis courts.
- If your music facility has recording equipment available for clients to use in their music lessons for an additional fee, you can specify which of your employees are allowed to have access to that equipment. This way, clients don't add the equipment to a lesson with an instructor who doesn't know how to use it.

With The Upsell Module, your additional products and services can also be added to your facility's memberships and packages through a custom category structure that you create.
- If you want to include a number of pitching machine rentals in a VIP Membership, you can use the Upsell Module to create a "VIP pitching machines" category, then add that group of equipment to the membership when you create it with eSoft Planner's Membership module.
- If you want to create a package for clients that includes the use of microphones in five recording studio sessions, you can create a category called "studio microphones" and specify how many can be used in each recording session.
