Facility reservations just got easier. eSoft Planner, a web-based scheduling and management software offered by PPC Communications, has added a Facility Reservation system to its online facility management program. The purpose of the Facility Reservation system is to allow the administrator and authorized employees to "set aside" locations in their facility without a client actually scheduling and paying for that rental beforehand.

When asked to explain how his clients will benefit from this new feature, Mike Meszaros-owner of PPC, had this to say, “While, most of the time, it is beneficial to have clients pay for services at the time of scheduling, there are some instances when you can actually secure more money for your organization by handling it differently. An example of this might be if a Swim Club has a team that rents a pool from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm every Tuesday and Thursday throughout their entire swim season. The team may not be able to pay the full amount at the beginning of the season, but needs the security of knowing they will have a spot to practice. Using the Facility Reservation software , the administrator can reserve the pool for the team during their requested times and specify how far in advance each session must be paid in order to keep their reservation. This way, they can receive consistent income from the swim team and if the team does not pay within their specified time frame, the pool will be made available for rental to other clients at that time.
eSoft Planner’s Facility Reservation software allows full customization. The administrator designates which employees have permission to utilize this option, specifies how far in advance a client must pay for a reservation, and customizes emails automatically sent to clients reminding them to pay for their rental within the specified period of time.
